Re: Can someone point me to another dimension?
[ QUOTE ]
This post will give away my lack of education, but here goes.. Has any other dimension been proved? I know string theory relies heavily on multiple dimensions, but as I understand things this is the exact problem with string theory. It is completely untestable and likely never will be. [/ QUOTE ] Not proved but there are certinly tests proposed to investigate/test the various theories. They wouldn't be scientific theories otherwise. |
Re: Can someone point me to another dimension?
slightly off topic, but ive heard stories about WWI fighter piolets having to adjust to 3D fighting. I guess it was really tough for them to think about looking up and down for threats instead of just 360 degrees on a single plane.
But they didnt have to imagine a new dimension, just learn to fully exploit the 3D world. |

It might of course be true that the universe actually is n-dimensional (for some specified n), [/ QUOTE ] A good formalist post, and then u spoil it with this sentence. |

Re: Can someone point me to another dimension?
I'm not sure if it's been proven or not, but I think people who played PacMan as a kid are better at grasping the concept of higher dimensions than those who didn't.
