Hey she can do an interview without 104 takes. That is, she can do the job which is more than can be said for Shanna.

Who really cares about this, though? As long as the final product comes out good, it's fine. Besides, you only see the outtakes on the DVDs and she looks fire in all of those.

I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Shana.

Shana's interviewing abilities were awful.

gotta agree. She's hot but no personality at all.

Yeah, she did suck at interviewing. She'd pretend to be interesting and/or understand what the person was talking about. Still amazing to look at.

Shana's interview with Scotty Nguyen at {fill in WPT final table that Nguyen made but did not win here} was awesome. Every one she's ever had with him she has no idea what he's saying. A full 10/10 on the Uintentional Comedy Meter.

Re: The new Shana....

Well, not only did she not understand...but I think she was intimidated in front of the camera a little bit...particularly when interviewing a player.

Just asking someone 'what did you think about how you played?' would make her look REALLY nervous and she'd get a little tongue-tied.

It's not uncommon actually.
But Courtney did a much better job at interviewing just by being more comfortable in front of the camera (even if she is equally ignorant about poker which I am guessing is likely).

Shana is definitely cuter. But I really don't care about that too much.
Cute girls who have little ability to speak don't belong in front of the camera (for example: I prefer Michelle Tafoya on Monday night football as opposed to whatever blonde ditz they had on the sidelines before).

The best thing about her is now I can tell very quickly if this is an episode I've seen or not by is it one with Shana or not. With all the repeats they show and TiVo picks up this is some value.

True, true, but it's just not the same without Shana.

blows.

Stepford Wife...zero personality. Bleh.

And Shania was Ms. Personality? C'mon. It's a weak gig for anyone. They are all Stepfords. At least both of them are better than that guy on the UPC (Brandi something?)

It's odd how two people can watch the same thing and see it so differently. Granted Shana's interviewing could've been better, but a good interview is tough to pull off. I guess the argument could be made that was what she was there for.

Where Shana excelled was the little features. And she excelled at them because of the fact she looked so comfortable/natural in front of the camera.
