I think this is where the debate lies.

Er, not really. JJ is like, the 4th best starting hand.

I use ProV1s.

I like the raise to 100. I hate limping here.
And I think the raise makes it more likely that it will get folded to the shortie which will make it more likely that he will push.

I probably limp here b/c it is eary levels and you're UTG. From LP I would probably bet 3xbb. The reason I limp is that if A-Q flops, I am likely folding this hand and getting out cheaply. If raised behind me 3x or more pf, I am also folding. If I get to see the flop cheaply and the board is all under cards (and safe) I will bet 3xbb and see what happens.

A bit tight against one player, no?

Even at the 11s, a K or Q isn't as scary on the flop when you raise and they coldcall than when you limp and they limp behind. I'd guess after raising preflop, a continuation bet is very profitable on a Qxx flop.

If you raise and are called what do you think villain has? He likely has another pocket pair OR some form of broadway hand... so when A-Q flops, it is very likely that it has helped. Sure a continuation bet could be profitable, but it could also be expensive and I am trying to not lose chips early on.

Once again I think you are giving players at the 11s too much credit. You will see alot of sooted (and unsooted) Ax's and middle connectors calling here too. Against 1-2 opponents I would continuation bet 100% of flops that didn't contain another J, against more than 2...it depends

I meant on the flop. Folding if the A-Q flops was what I was talking about.
