I think its just reaching a bit too far, dont want perusing these boards to be too much like surfing porn. After all, i would like to occasionally check these boards from other computers in public areas and it just may be uncomfortable to some.

Maybe i'm the minority on this, but just wanted to see if others share some of these views.

Yes. It's horrible...just horrible. I search the forums daily to find new examples, and make copies of the worst ones for future reference. Just horrible.

Yes, Turning off ALL the avatars to avoid seeing the 5% one would prefer not to see seems like the right solution.


The OP could use FireFox and AdBlock to block individual avators. Not a perfect solution, but close.

I'm not a parent, but I couldn't blame one who was offended by stickman's avatar and others like it. As much as I'd like to believe minors won't find their way here, I can't. I'm as liberal as it gets, and I'd still moderate just out of empathy for those who aren't.
