I've noticed a trend in your posts lately where you seem to be suffering both from extreme weakness and a desire to FPS. It looks a combination of both here. What were you thinking on the flop? Just 3-bet.

I was thinking, he has AJ. I also was thinking that if he had a worse ace, he plays well enough to get away from it if I show too much aggression. I also was thinking that I am a pussy.

You should not be playing 30/60 if you are checking this turn. Either call check raise on flop and raise turn or just threebet flop. bottomline you have AK and you flopped an ACE... bets are going in on every street. Your turn check and then raising river is rediculous and hopefully a joke....

Dont make such huge blanket statements. Checking the turn here can be correct sometimes.

Bike.. i think checking could be correct in a higher limit game, but i just don't see how it could be at the 30 at canterbury

It doesn't matter...a hand vs vehn is a hand vs vehn. he's a very tough player and the limit may as well be 100/200.

he got spooked by vehn and knowing who he is. no big deal, although i agree the turn needs to be bet. personally i 3-bet the flop because great players can drop a smaller ace to the smmoth call/raise move.

i dont mind a check here at all. vehn isnt an idiot. you're only getting money from AQ here and hes checkraising you with everything else.
