I'm very anti-turn raise here against all but a few specific types of opponents, and even then only when I have a decent amount of history with them and plan on playing in the same game decently often. I think you're burning there.

I think you should raise the flop to shut out the other player. Bet the turn hoping to show down for free, but fold to a check raise on the turn.

agree.

against fish, i like to cr the flop instead of waiting for the turn with A high, as I give him two chances to fold before the river.
