If this bothers you, you are not ready for 75/150

Early today I was playing on a $25 PLO table on Party and I lost this big pot so I had to rebuy like $20. What's up with that?

I assume you have at least a bankroll of 30,000 to be playing 75/150, if not the recommended 45,000? (300 BB's)

if it was so painful that he felt the need to post about it here then it's entirely possible he shouldn't have been playing that high in the first place.

Also - if losing $12k really is that painful for you...there's nothing stopping you from leaving the game after you're "only" down $7k or so.

Yup, I was talking about this very exact thing to a coworker yesterday at Happy Hour. He plays poker but won't touch online because a buddy of his lost $7,500 online and had his car repo'd. My exact words to him was "I bet he was playing over his head".

I make double playing poker online what I make at my job (granted my job blows and I don't get paid crap), I play about 5000 hands a month (which 4-tabling gives me about 250 hands per hour or in short 20 hours a month playing poker) and I've never put more than $100 down on a table at once.

Never did understand why people put that much money at risk on a table when you don't have to to make good money online.
