here's my pet peeve w/ this fortune cookie and others like them these days: that's not a freakin fortune!!

you ever notice that? every time the "fortune" will just be some lame statement about your personality. i didnt want to read a horoscope. i wanted to foresee my future damnit!!

Panda Express has the WORST fortunate cookies ever. They aren't even fortune cookies, they just make a poor attempt to tell you something about yourself. They should call them prediction cookies.. yes.

there's a fairly well known chinese place in Dinkytown (Minneapolis college area) - called the Village Wok - I used to take girls there when I wanted them to have some good chinese food.

I take a girl there - we get our cookies - and I'm wondering where it will lead maybe with me and her....

and my cookie had NO FORTUNE - completely empty - in short, I had no future...

very, very appropriate - and more correct then anything a slip of paper would have said....

was funny though - she laughed - I'm sure that laughter was a comfort to her weeks later when she prepared her "I just want to be friends with you " speech.
