Re: Rate me..!

It looks very close getting 2:1 vs a set on the flop:

Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing 2c Ah Kh
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Jh Th 335 33.84 655 66.16 0 0.00 0.338
Ac Ad 655 66.16 335 33.84 0 0.00 0.662

And better vs a possible 2 pair as mentioned in OP:

Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing 2c Ah Kh
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Jh Th 422 42.63 568 57.37 0 0.00 0.426
Kc Ad 568 57.37 422 42.63 0 0.00 0.574

If the stacks were a little larger the possible bets won on a non-paired flush turn/river would improve implied odds as well.

Seems like the best way to maximize FE, although I wouldn't get myself in this situation in the first place.

turns out my play wasn't all that bad afterall. anyways what is this I should limp preflop..?

Is it ok to limp all sorts of stuff in NL..?

I'm raising quite a few hands and so far I've had loads of FE.

Eh, IMHO JTs is the single most overrated hand in NL. Truth be told, you really don't need to be playing it at 25$ NL, set mining and playing overpairs well will make you gobs of money. If you want to play SCs, then play them from the button or cutoff, and generally just limp behind.

No, although you can play more hands from the button. Ideal stats for 25$ NL would be like 10% VPIP in the first 3 positions, maybe 15% VPIP in middle position, and 20-23% from the cutoff or button.

Good, hope it keeps working for you. NL can accomodate different styles of play, I'm merely passing on what works for me.

Re: Rate me..!

I think MP1 is too early to raise with JTs. In the CO, button or even MP3, I'll raise more than hero did here if I'm limped to (4xBB+1/limper). UTG, I'll actually fold. Here, with several limpers, I call the blinds, and call a standard raise if it looks like it's going to be multi-way. I won't go heads up out of position, however, if its raised from LP and then folded back around to me.

EDIT: Why raise? I'm really tight, and I needed to find ways to get my PFR over 5%. Suited connectors, semi-connectors and middle pairs in MP3, CO and Button are good raising hands at tight tables because they usually win with a continuation bet, and sometimes flop a monster. Adding these to my raising cards and always raising in the SB when folded to me brings my PFR to ~7.5%. That is a good amount, I think, at a full ring game to disguise my raises with AA/KK/AKs etc.

Re: Rate me..!

Thx for theese advices. I'm a totally newb in NL so I might just be running good.

I've ordered a few books on NL so these should help me get on track.

Till then I'll keep doing what I do now and then evaluate by posting and evaluating my hands all in all.

I do hope that it is possible to have an VP$IP over 20% and still be making a good ammount of $ in Nl but we'll just see about that.

Just play 6-max. More action, more variance. Some people love it.
