I would somewhat ammend my answer....depending on whether the player is conservative.....loose ultra aggressive player....etc.....you need to give some more details on the type of players you observed these players to be....because there's a lot of psychology involved in such hands...I would be less likely to give conservative credit for a set than a loose ultra aggressive player....and be more inclined to put conservative aggressive player on a hand like AKs/AQs....or TT,JJ,QQ, and possibly suited connecotrs(if I know they can switch gears and pull a play with a hand like 68s for unpredictability)...also how imaginitive are these players? do they play very stadard poker or do they pull some interesting plays?

I agree with diablo.

On ub, this is a good time to press the pot button preflop, $250 is like a min raise announcing you have AA/KK and giving 3 people awesome odds to bust your stack.

if he has 99 or aa you are done. i know he did not reraise preflop, but too often you are beat. at the lower limits i probanlt call because there are so many bad players. however, here usualy the players here are pretty good. the all in strikes me that he wants a call, where at a lower limit i think just the opposite. but it is all game and player dependent, so you need to go with your gut. but without information i fold.
