half price drinks is way different than half the drinks (in the long run) being free.

my point is is that this must be a shitty bar to have to pull something like this, there are plenty of specials you can use to attract customers that are a lot better for the bar.

but the evening had some redeeming value, when my buddy went to the bathroom we had the bartender give this awful looking beast at the other side of the bar a drink and tell her it was from my friend. she came over to thank him and hilarity ensued.

Whats even better is to chose a random chick and tell your buddy she has been eyeing him for the past hour. Sometimes it works out, it usually doesnt.

There is a nightclub I went into near Yosemite Park that had a sign above the bar which read"Free Drinks Tomorrow Night".
