Well, that's why I asked my original question. If the answer was, in fact, correct, then you play goot and can say "nice hand sir". If not, now you can adjust your read.

I usually check behind here but I've been erring on the weak tight side of close decisions recently.

wish you hadn't posted results yet. my first thought was that his line looks like TT or AT, he checked the river cuz he was a little afraid of AK. would a "conservative, straightforward" player bet out from the sb into the pf raiser with less than 2pr?

that is a valid point.

The only problem I can see is if he is thinking exactly "he's not calling with any hand at all, but if I check my full house he might bet a busted draw."

this is exactly what popped into my head when i read this hand.

also, this flop is a wet dream for the flopped nuts. why you didn't go apeshit here and get called every time by Ax is beyond me. and no, mixing it up doesn't warrant throwing away such a situation.

id strongly consider folding the turn...
the river looks like an easy allin...
after he checks, looks like he must have AQ and is getting nervous? why the hell would someone check on the end with AT? WTF?

i can see why you might want to mix it up occasionally against a solid player, but i feel like this flop will either get you a lot of action from a two pair/set hand, or very little without improvement (AQ/AJ hand). what hands do you put him on in order for a slowplay to be correct here?

I feel pretty good about the river push given this stack size.

I dunno, man. I try to not worry about what they have and focus on my cards.
