My son just lost a tooth and I handed him ten dollars and told him the tooth fairy gave it to me for him.

My kids get $20 for the first tooth and $5 after that. You are a total cheap ass if you leave change.

Funny story.

Our oldest child loses her first tooth while I am on an emergency call with the police (my job requires me to work with the police on occasion). When I get home about 11PM, there is a note from my wife (who has long been asleep) telling me that our daughter lost her tooth, and to put some money under her pillow. The note is laying on top of a $5 and five $1's, so I take the $5 and put it under the pillow and go to sleep.

Next morning, my wife is complaining that I "only" put $5 under the pillow, and she has added the five $1's to it. A few minutes later, our daughter runs into our room excited that the tooth fairy made a visit the previous night. I ask her how much money she got, and she holds up all of the bills and innocently says "there was only 1 dollar under my pillow when I checked last night".

I just rolled my eyes at my wife.

Make her one of these and give it to her in front of all of her friends at her Sweet 16th Birthday Party!
