I actually cashed in a couple of cheap tourneys on Carribean sun this weekend. a most unusual circumstance.

I like tourneys, they are fun but I don't have a good understanding of how to play them.

I either bust out early or get to the bubble broke. I have both HOH and I have read the first but not the second.

Tourneys are definetely +EV but not if you suck. I need to unsuck ASAP because Caesar's is getting serious about tourneys and winning won big one would be life changing.

I've been thinking about playing the 10-20 next time I go down there instead of 5-10. I've played with a few terrible players at 5-10 who were waiting for a seat at 10-20. I'm pretty sure that I could beat that game, but I'm still a little nervous about playing for that much money. But moving up is always a little intimidating. Posts like this encourage me though. I've never actually played against anyone down there that I would call a "good" player and dont suspect that would change too much at 10-20.

Like most answers to questions about poker, it depends, sometimes the game is tight and very aggressive. Three or four maximum to the flop and no limping allowed.

Then there are days like Sunday when the sun is shining and life is good.

What can you tell me about the two young African Americans in the 10 game I see there everytime I go. They are both very loud and act like they are the best players on the boat. Are they really as good as they act? Last time I was there, they got into an arguement with each other and ended up playing HU 15-30.

I haven't been to Caesar's in a while, when did they add a kill to this game?

I have only played against them once so I can't really say. I wasn't impressed but one short session isn't enough to make a firm decision about a player.

Same time they dropped the 3-6, went back to spreading 4-8 and added 2-4, maybe three or four weeks ago.

Thanks steamboatin, and by the way, that's a nice little winner you booked there.

you should be aware that there is more money riding on the game then just a 'regular' 10/20 game.
it's a 10/20 game WITH kill so that changes things (although I don't know if it's always with a kill).

Yes, it is supposed to have a kill. When they stopped spreading 3-6 and made a few other changes, they added a kill to the 10-20.
