He's still too damn short and can't shoot, and will probably be about as mediocre as he would have been had he not got hurt.

Decent backup, but probably not ever a starting quality player.

A guy who is a great floor general and could potentially lead the league in assists doesn't generally sit on the bench. My guess is you haven't really seen him play very much.

My guess is that short guards who can't shoot aren't NBA starting players.

I'm not saying he's bad, but I don't think he's as good as people think he is.

I understand what you are saying, but plenty of teams have started worse PGs than Ford (Duhon, Tinsley early in his career, Rafer Alston, etc.) Ford was 3rd in the league in assists/48 minutes his rookie year behind Nash and Kidd; he really racks them up. Don't forget, he left Texas as a sophomore and helped lead the Bucks to the playoffs as a starting 20 yr old rookie PG. He's much better than his numbers suggest. Don't sleep on him.

Bump.

Well, he almost recorded a triple double in his first game back. Not a bad start for my man "TJ Cadillac," soon to be "TJ Bentley."

Artest will eat him. 3rd quarter of their first matchup.
