Thanks for the analysis Catt, I'd say you play each of those pretty well. The only comment I have is if I check/raised you on the turn for Hand 3 when that J hit, a 3bet on your part seems a bit excessive. That line would be screaming monster or big bluff, and a 3-bet doesn't help in either case since with a monster I'll cap, and a weak hand like 44 I'll fold. An argument could be made for 3-betting with the intention to check through the river, but if that's the case then you might as well induce another bet from me on the river.

Other than that... ni hans!

Yeah, a three bet on your turn C/R would be bad. I might still stupidly have done so in this case given the circumstances (the two prior hands we played) since I felt you wouldn't fold a losing hand to the three-bet and would see a showdown for 2 more in a 12 BB pot (or fold UI on the river if you held something like Ax with a pair) -- but clearly the odds would be pretty bad since I don't think you could give yourself 5 clean outs even if you had pair + overcard instead of a small PP, and you'd either be folding or capping (and I would credit you with a set and fold to the cap). 3-betting a turn C/R would not have been smart at all.

So let's back track a step...

I would fold to your turn 3-bet, and you would fold to my turn cap.

Moral of the story: GAMBOOOL = ++EV!

Forgot to ask -- C/Ring the double gutter on the flop in Hand 2 was nice and I didn't even consider QT as a possible holding. Were you continuing by betting any turn card there?

Thanks, but I don't think I deserve it. The more I think about it, the more I feel this should be a check/call situation. There's just too many draws and made hands that you could have here for me to have any real folding equity.

The way I played it though, I think I have to follow up on the turn around 95% of the time to take advantage of what folding equity I have anyway. I'm calling your bet anyway, so I just have to hope you don't pull another flop smoothcall, turn raise on me.
