Yeah, Max Kellerman's good in my book. I'll watch shows for him.

[/ QUOTE ]

I liked him better when he just did the boxing stuff though.

I, Max was good. Entertaining and lots of sports news. It's too bad it was canceled.

I do like Max and I did like him on ATH. I even watched some of his boxing commentary even though I don't follow boxing or know anything about it. I had high hopes for I, Max, but I've gotta say I didn't really like the show. Michael Holley is terrible and that other guy they have mediating or whatever he does is also terrible. Max can do better.

Have you seen him on NBC? He's a regular on the Tucker Carlson show.

No I haven't. In fact, I don't even remember the last time I had my tv turned to NBC - probably the NBA Finals? And before that, who knows - probably the 2004 NBA Finals.

Re: The worst thing about I, Max

Tony Reali knows his stuff, you gotta give him credit for that, whereas Max sorta specialized in the boxing and the NYY.

Michael Holley, UGH. His boice is like nails on chalkboard. I don't understand how they pitched the show as IMax and the "opponent" is freaking always Michael Holley. What the hell is up with that? At least mix it up a little. This is like renaming PTI the Tony Kornheiser hour, and hey let's throw Michael Wilbon in there.

I, Max was garbage, and not even close to ATH. Reali makes that show, and if you don't believe it, watch the ATH shows where Reali is being filled in with some substitute guy and see how far the quality drops off. It's not to say Max was bad with ATH, but when Tony Reali found his groove with the show it got 2x better than anything Max could thrown out there.

No, he doesn't know his baseball. He knows about 4 teams or so. The previous guy is right... Max should have stuck to boxing. He was reputable. I used to like him before he turned into a little backstreet boy looking fruitcake. He's like Scott Fischmann, but less knowledgable about sports and girls.

Don't know if this is said later on, but Kellerman makes guest appearances on Tucker Carlson's show on MSNBC. It took me by surprise the first time I watched it, and he's been on 2 of the 3 10-minute segments I've seen.
