<= 4BB I push alot, even with 4 people left.. is this a good strategy?

Absolutely, but maybe not at the play money tables. When I push at the 22s, I get called by crap like J4 all the time. I can't imagine the calling standards at the play money tables. If you're at a table where you have no fold equity on your pushes, you just have to wait for a good hand.

It's hard to say without some examples and more information, but if you don't feel "confident" in the $2 buy-in tournaments, it's possible you are playing with scared money and are playing too passively or folding with the best hand too often.

no, i had a 50 buyin roll and i am definetly not scared

the confidence thing was to find out whether i can beat $2, after a string of losses. I mean, i dont wanna continue to play a game where 'im the sucker'

so say the stack sizes are 14BB, 7BB, 4BB and (me) 4BB, and in the BB i get K8o, SB (7BB) min raises, should I fold?

Post some hands. Read and re-read Harrington on Hold'em 1 and 2.

usually i either have 3000 stack or 1000 stack in level 5. Then in the latter, I start pushing alot more often, especially in button - in 3000, I also start pushing against low stacks with K+ and A+.

Also, I'm not sure im making the right plays - can you rate this hand for example (from $2sng)

(edit: folded to me in one before button)

QdQs in one before button, blinds 100/200, 6 handed and i have 1500 stack. raise to 550, called by BB, flop AK8 all diamonds, BB checks, I push, called with AK, Ac turn.

is this correct? should I just push preflop? (because that raise was more than 1/3rd of my chips) ?

second edit: I think i should pushed preflop, because I am committed anyway.

okay, I am playing a $2 sng, it doesn't support HH but I am going to record everything.

Yeah, you botched this one pretty bad. You can't take away a flop you didn't like, no matter how emphatically you bet. And you're right, you should have pushed preflop.

Do you have 4BB before you post or after? Which stacks are in which positions? Has the SB been raping your BB repeatedly?

i read alot of guides and understand FE and gigas block theory and stuff like that, i am also good enough to understand you dont need fancy plays to play low limit sngs.
