Why didn't you lead the flop? I think it might give you more information on where your at. Hope this helps. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: TPTK + nut flush draw - Call this gross overbet?
Villian must have tilted like mad after this hand. Haha.
Nice suckout. I call here too... |
Re: TPTK + nut flush draw - Call this gross overbet?
lol its a unanimous fold because you showed the results that villian had AA, do it 6 months from now and give villian something like A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and those same people would say this is a tough call but i make it.

Re: TPTK + nut flush draw - Call this gross overbet?
There are two hands that I see played this way a lot. Though not from a preflop raiser...most of the time on these monotone boards: sets and non-nut (baby) flushes. Mostly though the all in is after a bet from someone else...

Re: TPTK + nut flush draw - Call this gross overbet?
this really is an easy fold

Re: TPTK + nut flush draw - Call this gross overbet?
How does he catch his flush and fill the villian up with the same card given this board?!?!

Re: TPTK + nut flush draw - Call this gross overbet?
if he has a set, you're 2.5-1 against.
this gives you equity of about 314 of pot. if he has a flush, you're 2.17-1 against. this gives you equity of about 347 of pot. if he has AK, you have around equity of 2/3 pot (2/3 you chop, 1/3 you win whole thing, which is 1/2(2/3) + 1/3 = 2/3 pot) which is 733. if he has Ax, with a spade with that A, then you are a 9-1 favorite, which means you baiscally own 990 of pot. so let's see...you have to call 521 1st scenario, you have EV of -207 2nd scenario, you have EV of -174 3rd scenario, you have EV of +212 4th scenario, you have EV of +469 now assign likelihoods of the hands. i'd say, being very lenient, he has a set with this move maybe 60% of the time, Ax with a spade 10%, a flush 20% of the time, and AK 10% of the time. and i'm being generous with the Ax spade and AK here. .6(-207) + .2(-174) + .1(212) + .1(469) = -90.9 i'd say a fold is in order... |
