Re: How much do you play?
I'd say 15k when I can put 5 days a week in.

How many tables sourbeaver?

Re: How much do you play?
I try to put in 10k per week. With 6 tables of 6-max, it ends up being 4-5 hours 7 days a week.

8
And from the looks of me at higher levels, I will stick to it for a while |
Re: How much do you play?
How do you manage to 8-table at NL?
Surely an average of 4 seconds a decision is just not long enough? What happens when you get a biggie at one table? Do you sit out on the others in order to concentrate? |

Full time job takes away from my playing time

Re: How much do you play?
This is weird-- with my somewhat arbitrary range definitions, this looks almost like a perfect bell curve. I was mostly just curious as I've recently decided I'd try to play 1000 hands/day every day I don't have something that keeps me out of the apartment for too long (so this is about 6 days/week as I have no life and only work in an office half time and work as a freelance musician a few nights/week). This isn't all NL (not even all holdem) but it feels like a good amount to be playing-- not so much that I'm getting burned out but enough that I can see the bankroll growth pretty quickly.

Re: How much do you play?
I have a full-time job and I usually play once or twice a week for a couple hours (3-tabling) each time. I figure I end up in the 301-600 category.
Sometimes I play more, sometimes I play less. I find that during the summer I actually play less because there's nothing on TV during the summer. During the other months, most nights my wife and I will watch some TV shows and I can play on my laptop while half-watching TV. During the summer we find better things to do so I don't have as much spare time to watch TV/play poker. |
Re: How much do you play?
pp 25nl the big choice plays are fairly easy most of the time. Don't get me wrong, im sure the BB/100 is a tad lower, but overall the cash winrate is much higher htan 4 tabling.
Acually, now that im never bored while playing my winrate is acually higher 8 tabling than it was 4 tabling, but i tilted for about 200BB. With pokeroffice overlay running i have 3/4 of the reads i need to for online play. However, if im in a tough spot and decide to make a feeler raise, i do make sure i watch how long it take sfor him to respond. Other than that - click'n go! |
