Re: Pacific poker no more bonus email!

The poker room is backed by the biggest and most profitable casino on the web. Anyone who leaves his money on the site should be fine.

Interesting. I only play at Party but have been thinking of opening an account here. Should I still be considering it? Any other recommendations for a second site? I usually play 3/6 hold em and I am looking for games that might be looser than Party. Thanks.

P.S. I've never played with a "RB".

This is not a Shady site. It is one of the most respected sites outthere. If and when they do lock you our or deny you bonuses they will alwyas let you withdraw your funds. They have a standard practiceof reviewing the accounts twice a year looking for bonus chasers only. Generally its just for there Casino on Net site.

Try Pokerroom or its affiliate Bet on Bet for rakeback

I received the same email. This is just one of many instances of appalling behavior by Pacific Poker. Maybe they think that winning players are bad for business and they have decided on a policy to harass them to drive them off the site.

I have accumulated $1000 worth of comp points since I started playing at Pacific. During the same time I must have paid something like $15000 of rake. It is a poor man's version of rakeback, but it still counts.

I think I now have enough reasons to erase Pacific Poker from my hard drive. The games are a little better but the reason is of course that all players with some sense of what is right simply do not tolerate

1. Horrible bugs
2. Random disconnects in every session
3. Blocked cash-outs
4. Harassment of winning players
5. Fear of what will come next at Pacific Poker

Yeah, 888.com (also called casinoonnet.com, I believe). The ironic thing about all of this is that the casino used to have the best bonus anywhere (20% up to $200 with only a $400 playthrough) -- tons of people took advantage of it.

Pacific has some soft games (and tournaments), but you can only play one table at a time and the software is kinda clunky.

That does suck. But as long as they don't disappear with all my funds, I'm okay. Remember, all these sites are completely unregulated and offshore. I'm more worried about credit risk than them changing policies like this.

Pacific is based in Gibralta, probably for taxation reasons, it seems to be essentially a UK company, also don't fear the other poker sites located off-shore its basically for legal and taxation reasons, and remember you are much more likely to get your money stolen by the CEO of a US stock market company than a poker site, those guys steal for a living.

All I can say if any site tells me that since I'm a profitable player I no longer qualify for the perks bad players get, I'm gone. That is BS.
