Jason's got three likely hands here -- A weak A (A6s), some jack, or 33. I 3-bet the flop and slowdown after that if he keeps the gas on.

Does that mean you guys would call down if he caps the flop or c/r the turn?

3-bet to help Jason grow a big pot for his set. Thats what friends are for!

PS: Every time I see your avatar all I can think of is that Tank must be so embarrassed that he is in your avatar taking a leak. It cracks me up!

i would call jason's raise and plan on calling down unless I spiked a jack or a ten.

Re: hand vs jason_t, gimme a line

I seriously doubt he raise a set of 3s here. I do it to mix up my play as a thinking player is going to be aware of what Im doing if I call, raise the turn (especially if I just smoothcall a re-raise)...or call down and raise the river, etc.

Most likely its an A or possibly AJo (or does he re-raise this here)???

Then again it could be a he knows, u know, hes knows sort of thing and really does have a set.

Re: hand vs jason_t, gimme a line

FWIW I think it is very unlikely that jason_t has an A here, as any A he wants to play he's probably raising to isolate, unless he can assume loose blinds (not unreasonable at live 3/6). so perhaps it's slightly more likely than at party 3/6 that jason has an ace.

I really like a three bet here on the flop, because jason will probably not cap one pair on the flop with players trapped, so a cap from him will make things easier for you on the big streets, and you know UTG is gonna call the two bets with his A7s or JT or whatever.

also, if you call the flop and raise jason_t's turn bet, at that point the donk will probably be able to find a fold which is bad.

Joke answer: I c/r the turn and cap if he 3-bets, because I will river that nit 75% of the time.

Real answer: Call down would be my line, yeah. You c/r?

I'm on the button..I meant if jason checkraises me on the turn do you call down?

Re: hand vs jason_t, gimme a line

it depends on the turn card, as I have hidden outs versus A3s which is his only likely two pair holding. but unless there are head games I have not been made aware of, I think calling a turn CR after you three bet a drawless flop would be giving money away

Hi Bakku,

I'm suprised nobody has considered just calling the flop raise intending to just call down. By the turn, you don't have to worry about protecting your hand so much because any hand with a piece of this flop has 3-5 outs agaisnt you while you're drawing slim when you're behind and from what I understand Jason is the type of player that can make good tough folds, so there's not much value in raising a turn either.

3/6 Commerce with jason_t, gaming mouse and private joker

a total donk limps UTG, folded to jason in the hijack who limps, i raise ATs on the button, retard lady calls in the SB, BB folds, rest call. 4 to the flop for 8SB.

AJ3r, none of my suit
SB checks, donk utg bets, jason raises, what's my action and plan for the rest of the hand?

I don't care what he has. he played it like [censored]

I hate terms like "donk" because they don't describe what type of player it is. obviously loose but aggressive, passive, average? it's impossible to say based on this information
