I'll prolly be sitting in a spread limit binky stakes Stud rock garden while I wait for a seat at $5/10 Omaha, but if pickin's are really slim, I'll probably sleaze over to the $4/8 or $5/10 limit HE games, or maybe the romper room NL game.

what kind of stud limits do they spread... any 3/6 or 5/10 or anything like this? or just bs 1-5... do they possibly spread a 2-10?

I don't really pay much attention, as I've only ever played the 1-5. I know there are always 1-3,1-5, 5/10, 10/20, and I think 20/40 going. I've seen 75/150 a number of times, I dunno if it's always going, or a sometimes thing.

the 75-150 stud seems to be always going. i don't know how those old guys do it, but they're still playing at 6am long after the 75-150 hoe game is broken.

also, i will be at foxwoods on 12-14 along with some friends of mine.

I'll be there on Saturday, either in the 4/8 limit, 1/2 NL, or 2/4 NL. I use one of TenPercenter's Anubis-head $1K Chipco chips as a card protector (pretty sure its the only one in the room).

Actually, it's one of the only two in the room.

Depending how how the mood takes me, I'll either have one of Ten's $5000 Tut plaques or the $1000 Anubis head as my card protector. Whichever I use, I'll have the other in my pocket.

D'oh; didn't realize anyone else up in New England had those chips. Does the plaque work well? It seems a little too large for my tastes as a card protector. I used to use the skeleton figurine in my avatar but one of the elastic bands holding him together broke and he can't handle the job any more.

Rest assured, if I see any other Egyptian chips at my table, I will promptly request a table change.

I lay it down perpendicular to the orientation of the cards. Otherwise, yeah, it's pretty close to card sized. It wouldn't cover the cards, but it'd get lost on top of one.

I don't really have a set of the egyptians. I just ordered samples of 10 of each denomination.

Shuffling the plaques is fun.

True, but the sound sucks. I wish the plaques were heavier and didn't make that weenie clicky sound when shuffled. I was disappointed that the backs came out upside-down but nobody else in the group buy seemed to mind so I didn't make waves.

Yeah, well I have a pretty dim opinion of chipcos in general, so the upside-down backs and the clackety-clack sound only goes along with that opinion.

Anyway, and I say this to anyone:

Hope I don't see you there this weekend.
