Not kidding. I ended up crying all the way to the poor house and felt like an idiot when I was shown the 78 of spades.

So all of you are in agreement that Straight Flush possibilities be damnes, you aren't slowing down?

What other hand it going to still be raming and jamming on the river other than the sf?

Q high flush maybe? Seriously, there is a looong list of crazy hands I've seen cap the river when I've held the nuts. While this isn't quite the nuts, you have to be good here more than you'll lose. Eh?

You're not honestly scared of a straight flush, are you? Hero raises forever.

Also, raise the flop.

Grunching.

You can't really be worried about someone having a straight flush are you? You have to be salivating and praying that they don't fold on your raises.

How are you not pumping this baby for value on the flop???? Everyone is trapped in the middle!

There's nothing wrong with not raising here.

Sorta different, well in fact very different. But I just wanted to show this hand.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, RAISE THAT FLOP!!!

*ahem*

Turn is fine, pedal to the metal on the river.

Edit: Shadow29's post is a more acceptable instance of slowplaying; but I believe you have to at least raise the turn there.
