Re: Big game at Bellagio (Not Beal\'s game)

I was wondering something about the big mixed game. According to Barry Greenstein's website they play no limit and pot limit games with a $100,000 cap. What are the blinds when they switch to these games? Do they stay at $2k/$4k?

with a 1k ante and a 100k cap to lose per hand! Sounds like a crap-shoot to me.

As usual all the dealers hated the big game because they said they never get toked.

It must be because the dealers at the bellagio don't do their job very well. When the big game was going at the commerce last month, at least two dealers mentioned how happy they were to deal the game. One of the dealers said she had the best night of her life tokewise when she dealt the game.

They play with 1 dollar chips, so tipping the dealer would be equivalent to tossing away 4000....I'm not surprised they don't tip

They were playing with $1000 chips at the Bellagio. I'm sure the players could get a couple blue chips to use for toking.

Does anyone know the guy's name that wears the shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops in the Big Game? He has a European accent. I've seen him in the game often.

Out of the listed regulars at Barry Greenstein's site, Sammy Farha and Gus Hansen are the ones with the lowest rating for side games, with a 6. Maybe the money is coming from them when the tourists aren't around. I wouldn't be so surprised if it was Gus though, becase he has so much money in coming from the tournaments.

The big donators in that game are Larry Flynt, Rene Ageneil, and Jerry Buss.

that seems like a real small time charge, the 80 games in AC are 10 an hr.

Larry Flynt does not play in the Bellagio mixed game. He's played exclusively 7 card stud for decades. He has his own game at the Hustler Casino.
