I think the button raise depends on your opponents, but is close enough that it's fine.

Flop 3-bet seems pretty aggressive, I assume you're putting him on something like QQ/KK?
Turn and river seem standard given that you hit your kicker and he didn't show any more aggression.

Since your post said "not sure when i went wrong" I assume you lost the hand. Some players will limp-reraise mid or even weak pairs like 88 and TT, though that's an awful way to play it if you do hit a set. Maybe he thought you had AA or something? A little bizarre...in general I think your hand wins here.
