For years I had severe carpal tunnel symptoms very similar to yours; constant elbow pain, numbness in hand right hand and a general weakness in my right arm overall......but once I started to whack off left handed it mysteriously went away. go figure.

Carpal tunnel is the wrist, not elbow.

What you are experiencing is the from repititive motion of the mouse. When you move the mouse, you move your elbow just a bit. Get a trackball. I use one of these:
Trackball

No matter which one you get, I recommend one with the thumb style ball.
