What would your river play been had the river been a less friendly card like a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or an overcard to your tens?

Not sure. I'd probably be check-call. Don't know if that is the best play though. Maybe bet out? But then what if I am reraised? Call? If a blank had come on the river, I think I would bet and then call the raise. If he had shown aggression on the turn, I'd probably call down. Is this OK or am I throwing chips away? I'd probably fold to any flop aggression. If anyone has a 4, I'm dominated.

Thanks!

In answer to my own question, check-call would be my line too, but I'm not sure if that's right. Folding to any flop aggression is bad because there are a lot of hands that you're ahead of that may bet/raise here (any 2 spades, lower pocket pair, or a 2), and from my experience, most people with a 4 would wait until the turn to speak up anyway.

The reason I check is that, with many limpers, you're playing TT for set value.

[/ QUOTE ]

You'd be surprised how often TT can hold up unimproved.

[/ QUOTE ]

The more players, the less often.

Yes, but made up by your fair share of equity. TT is a clear raise no many how many players are going to the flop.

Good point. Wasn't considering that.
