This is my advice as well. As for how you played it, I think your immediate odds dictate a call on the river. BTW, what you're telling us about his stats is not represented when you go on to consider the hands that you're ahead of.

If the 3-bettor is reasonable I like the river fold as you said you don't beat anything. I would check raise the flop after UTG calls. But given that you called I like the turn bet if for no other reason than you probably have the best hand and don't want to give free cards to this very drawy board. When raised you don't have the best hand very often unless he is very agro. But the pot is reasonably big and there is some chance for improvement. The river card is horrible and I think that folding is fine.

I'd either bet the flop hoping to get raised and therefore headsup, or once I checked I'd just play it fast, checkraise them both and go from there. I like check-calling least of all.
