the book only had about 622 pages of content - the rest is WPT crap and appendices.

Harmans is the first poker strategy chapter, and it begins on 210.

She starts out talking about the basics, but really fluffs over it.

Discusses 2 chip 4 chip blinds and 3 chips 4 chips blinds, but never 2 chip 5 chips. How you need to play tighter in the 2/4 format, but I havent seen if she quantifies how much tighter.

I am disappointed so far, bur for 27 bucks from amazon, it is worth it for historical value. I have a feeling it is going to fall apart fast though.

"and I thought my college textbooks were expensive"

Are you kidding my cheapest book in engineering was like $75. You must be some liberal arts major!

I pre-ordered it from Amazon, it was less than $23 and shipping was free.

All the games could have their own 400 plus page book, so an expert might not get as much out of it as a beginner or intermediate player.

I thought the hi-lo stud section by Doyle's son was exceptional and I enjoyed learning triple draw. Maybe I enjoyed these sections the most because I'm the least familiar with these games.

I play mostly pot-limit omaha and like you was a little disappointed with the section I was most interested in, but I'm sure I got my money's worth on the book. Also, it would be a crime for a serious player not to keep up with what most of his opponents are reading.
