I wanna get my iPod hooked into my stereo. I don't have an AUX input but the guy told me as long as you have a CD changer control you can buy some piece and hook it into that.

I thought I had a CD changer control on my alpine but I can't seem to figure it out. I guess I'm gonna have to get a whole different CD player. I have one of those cheap Belkin things and it sucks donkey schlong.

Have both a tape adapter and an FM transmitter. I hate the FM transmitter, because on long drives, no matter what station you choose, you find a radio station on that signal which clouds up the sound. Tape adapter good, unless you are willing to hold your iPod up in the direction of your radio antennae while you drive (did this while moving cross country, Pennsylvania is long).

i have the monster thing - sound quality sucked, so i hooked it into the auxiliary input in the back of my head unit. still use the monster thing as a really expensive power cord though.

That was the first thing I noticed. We've had threads with pictures of gay guys and that is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. Dirty Pop is a far better song.

I use the itrip. it works fine if you get a regular car charger so the iTrip doesn't suck out the battery.

it depends on how many FM stations are transmitting near you at those frequencies, i think.

also, i think the sounds quality of fm radio sucks overall, so maybe i'm just too picky.

I used the itrip for a awhile but i switched to the aux in setup. I found the itrip to be too much of a hassle, especially on road trips when i use my ipod the most, cuz you have to keep switching stations.

Although, it makes it kind of easy when you have a aux in on the front of your cd deck. Best feature i never knew i had.
