That's encouraging... But no, not yet.

Depending on whether I self publish or go with a more mainstream gambling publisher, you will probably see this book sometime before summer. If I do self publish, you might see this a lot sooner.

And, I expect that some people will see this before the end of Feb because though they do not know it yet, a few of the posters on this forum will help me as technical editors (which will probably amount to just reading the manuscript and telling me all the places where I am wrong or unclear). I also plan to bankroll and give a copy of this to a few 'newbie' friends to see just how easy it is to implement.

Of course I had planned to have this finished by last September at one point so who really knows.

As long as we are talking about this I'll breifly describe what this book will look like. It will probably be only 120-140 pages and will be a very basic ABC type introduction to SNG play. It will be directed at new, struggling, and slightly profitable SNG players. It will also contain information about SNG stats, progression, bankroll, online considerations and other basic SNG info.

I suspect that anyone who reads this forum on a very regular basis will get little from this book, but for a new or struggling SNG player, I think it will teach you how to turn a profit. If nothing else, it's going to be a nice, concise summary of ABC SNG concepts and FAQ type information in general.

I would speak to S+M before you put too much work into an FAQ for this site. If you become a published author (with someone other than 2+2) then they may not be willing to host an FAQ which has your name on it, they might consider it advertising for your book.

More to the point, it might seriously detract from the market for your book!
