It's definitely worth a read. Lots of times, I make plays based SOLELY on reads I've gotten from that book. This guy limps and uses this tell from Caro, so I just fold my sb, knowing he has a monster and is praying for a raise. He shows down KK.

Other times I was gonna raise, but I get a tell, so I just limp my pocket pair.

Other times I can c/r bottom pair after watching the bettor's response to seeing the flop.

There's plenty of good info for home games. There are plenty of tells that are vital. And as someone else said, it's important that YOU aren't revealing any of these common tells either.

You will find that in some cases Caro's Book of Tells nails it perfectly. Last week I was in a Hold'em tourney at the Borgata. One guy at the end of the table was getting a little frustrated. On one hand I made a decent raise and he went over the top of me with a bigger raise. I look up at him and he is staring me down, like he is daring me to bet. Well, Strong is Weak, as Caro would say. I had a decent hand, not a great one, but in that split second I knew he was bluffing. I push all-in and he folded like an accordian, grumbling about his bad luck. Just remember that none of these tells are 100% guaranteed. Use your gut and you'll find that this book can win you more pots.
