Re: party poker unrealistic

I dont know about UB, but party's RNG is just 6 old men yelling numbers from a cage.

UB is ok, they use 6 women so it is entirely random and unpredictable.

I think Party is EXTREMELY unrealistic.

I just don't think it is possible for SO many players to be SO bad. I think it must be a figment of my imagination.

agreed. I once fell off my chair while playing because I was in disbelief at how horrible the players were. Sometimes makes you wonder if there's a human brain at the other end of the screen.

To be blunt, conspiracy theories dont play well on this forum. If it seems like the best hand looses that is b/c too many players play too many hands and stay with them too long -- meaning they suck out a lot. Good hands and good play wins in the longrun. The only unrealistic thing about mainstream online poker sites is the players. There are too many winning players on this forum for it to be a fluke.

If you think Party is "unrealistic", Pacific would blow your mind.

I often hear that from poker forums. Most say that party is a rock garden compared to pacific. How is that humanly possible? seriously....

Good players generally don't find it that worthwhile to play on pacific due to:

-slow play so less h/hr
-no text hand histories
-no pokertracker compatibility
-you can only play on table at a time (this is a big one)
-generally crappy software
-not good customer support (so i hear)
-lack of capitalisation when it's late at night (or, wait, is that me?)

so anyway due to the lack of good players, there is a much higher percentage of bad ones.
