Christ. Raise the river and call a 3-bet. Don't be so results-oriented.

I don't think it was results oriented, I had a very good read on my opponents, and didn't act on the read instead I played "mathmetical" poker as opposed to "people" poker. I wasn't surprised when the small blind showed an ace high flush, I was surpeised that it was Ace Queen.

Good question, perhaps. The point I was trying to make here is that I had good read on my opponents, and really felt I was behind and drawing slim and yet continued to do the mathmetical thing and call. It made me feel a little better when all of the responses indicated that would also call this hand down.

I know one thing I would have really surprised if the small blind had shown 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I agree completley with everything you said Andy, and taking a look at it now 2 days later it's just another hand. However at the time I really was disappointed with the way I played the hand because I was so sure of my reads.
