EDIT: I actually came in 13th and made ~70 cents or so. As far as the main event goes, I said that I'd play it if I finished up 10 for the trip. I might play the 2500 tomorrow and I'll definitely play 150-300 again if it goes tonight. It was a beatable game the last time it spread. So somewhere in there I need to make like 3k more or so. Good luck to me! Nick - you coming down for the Main Event?

can't make it for the big one, but if you have the time/energy for it and it's just a roll consideration, let me know.

Has the 150-300 been going every night? What about the 80-160? Has the 80 game been half and half? I should be down Saturday, but possibly tomorrow if I feel up for it after work. I'll likely be in the 80 game unless the 150 looks ridiculous (it usually doesn't).

Hey Jeff - the 80 has been great every night(and has played 2 ways and just hold 'em) and the 150 has gone sporadically. It can be a very good game if you are comfortable playing short with a decent amount of preflop aggression. Hasn't been toooooo fishy yet though I expect that to change for the weekend. PM me with your cell if you want Jeff and I'll try to find you.

Oh yeah, ActionBob won the 1,500 dollar buyin and won a total of 118k. They made a deal when they were tied three ways and decided to give the 3rd place 50k. So he was basically playing HU for 45k at the end and played phenominally. The other guy was running him over to start it off, and Rob actually hit 6 outs to a split in this hand:

SB completes, Rob checks his option with t4o. The flop is T87 2 tone and rob bets out for about 30k(blinds 8 and 16). The other guy raises to 100k like he had been doing the entire time. Rob calls. The turn is an offsuit Ace and Rob pushes, the other guy instantly calls with 2 pair, T7, and the river pairs the ace. Matt Matros and I were sweating together and both agreed that both Rob and his opponent played the hand very very well.

Rob soon after picked off a 200k bluff with 3rd pair to take a relatively commanding chip lead, and then made a straight and made a 200kish value bet - at which point he was significantly ahead and grinded the guy down til it was an all in Rob's AJ vs. opponent Q7s - Rob dragged it and the fans went wild. It was the most fun I've ever had watching poker! For those of you who don't know Rob - he's one of the nicest and most genuine guys, the antithesis of most of the people you'll find in a card room. I'm sure he'll give more of a report later, but for now, that's all I got.

Way to go Bob - see what happens when you look at your cards. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
