Some people are dumb.

He might have you beat, but you're playing this like you have the best hand. Don't overthink this.

c/ring is fine. You check, he bets 200, you make it 600, he I guess raises you, you push. Or if you think he wont call a push that fast, just call, then bet the turn.

Re: Flop trips in BB. Help please.

What have you seen him do with big hands earlier in the tourney. I've seen people raise preflop and then make the continuation bet 95% of the time. The 5% they check after raising preflop was because they were slowplaying when they hit the flop big. This makes it very easy for me to tell how strong they are.

What I'm asking is would this player pot-bet it with trips and no draw on the board? Many players won't... especially bad players.

Mine line here against a bad player is to call the flop, and check raise the turn to get all the money in. Against a good player I make it t600 and probably fold to a push.

these are his stats for 50 hands.
saw flop: 34%
action on the flop:
raise - 8.7%
bet - 8.7%
call - 17%
check/fold - 65%

first action on the flop after a preflop raise
bet - 1 out of 3
no action - 2 out of 3.

off topic, how do u know if a player is good?
