Re: counter \"evidence\" against \"online poker is rigged\" mentality

$110 freezeout blinds 50/100, I'm in MP. UTG (leader at our table w/approx 5k), raises, folds around to CO-1 (approx 1600) who reraises, fold to SB who reraises all of his chips (2000). UTG flat calls, CO-1 reraises allin, UTG calls. I don't remember the raise sizes because these guys were just firing them in, they all wanted to be allin preflop.

UTG: AA
CO-1: KK
SB: JJ

Table goes nuts, flop brings no help. Turn is a jack. River is blank. CO-1 walks away, UTG goes on tilt.

Live poker is rigged.

this isn't exactly a bad beat encouragement post, but i'd like to hear about some extreme longshots winning a hand. what's the craziest thing you've ever seen live?

i think you're missing the purpose of the post. (shallow as it may seem ) it's not to complain about losing a pot to a bad beat, how much money was at stake and oh my god the opponents suck so bad, etc. it's to show that this is part of poker, online and live, and maybe we can discuss why people distrust online especially.

I mostly want to think this part of the discussion would be best for Psychology forum and maybe the internet forum. The latter being because this part has been discussed quite often there.
