They have electronic (PokerPro) tables for playing 1/2 limit and 2/4 limit.

Interesting. When did they add that? The lowest limit they spread when I was there over the summer was 4/8. Has this hurt the 4/8 games any? I'm kinda like the others though. If I'm just going to play electronically, why not sit at home and play online? BTW, can you multitable with the Winstar electronic poker? Is it like a regular table where you sit with the other players, but you're pushing buttons? Or is it more like a typical gaming machine (like the slots or VP or whatever? Are you just playing against other players at Winstar or is it online or networked with other B&M casinos or something?

I personally have no desire to play Omaha, but I have also heard that they plan on spreading it when the new poker room opens (again, if it ever does). Good luck getting them to break a Hold 'em game for an Omaha one once the room is full. You'd pretty much have to get there before 10 with enough people to start a game for it to have any chance.

It is exactly like playing a regular live game except you don't have any chips or cards. There is a large community screen in the middle of the table which shows people chip counts, community cards and bets. Additionally, each player has their own screen on which to see their own cards.

I've played it once, but didn't really like it. If I'm going to make the drive up there I want to play with real cards and chips. Interesting idea though.

Where is the "new" poker room going to be?

They're building a new place for the Bingo players and they anticipate moving the poker room into the old Bingo facily.

I kind of liked rubbing elbows with 4 people at a time.

My friends drove from Arlington the past 2 weekends and say it was really packed. Is the one in Norman, another 2.5 hours away that much better than Winstar? Who loves thats $5 rake?

Thunderbird in Norman I actually kind of liked. They spread 3/6 limit there, and the room has a decent size and isn't nearly as crowded as Winstar. Of course, there's less players as well. We didn't have to wait nearly as long, but the wait time at Winstar we spent driving to Norman. My roommate hated the place, he still won't express a why in a way I can understand.

I'd rather play 3/6 B&M since I always lose in Oklahoma.
