Hey, you know, the Muslims haven't cornered the market on ultra-fundamentalist loonies (not talkin' coins here, G).

Israel has ultra-orthodox Jewish fundies, and we here in the US have our good old home-grown Christian fundies.

They're all dangerous, and we need to pay attention to all of them. It's just that right now, the only fundies that are strapping explosives to their bodies and murdering innocent people are the Muslim ones.

Maybe if they'd just stop blowing people up for a while we could sit down and address their concerns with the less exigent imperfections of the US and Israeli governments.

But assuming you did have nuclear bombs you wouldn't mind bombing major US cities?

I'm also curious about your opinion of the book described in the original post. Do you agree with the author's views? Disagree? Agree somewhat?

Having not read the book (and having no intention of reading it) I can't offer much of an opinion.

From what I've read, and given my own proclivities, it's ridiculous.

Oh, and mass-destruction isn't really my thing.
