Yeah, it's just that. Higher limits have killed me on Monday-Wednesday.

There's no reason why you shouldn't switch up your limits and table-selection as conditions warrant.

If you find fishy players on Monday through Wednesday at your favorite limits...then play them. If you think the selection sucks then play down a bit if you can find more profitable tables.

Obviously it is more likely that you will find less-profitable tables on Mon and Tues.
But you don't have to limit yourself to simply not playing that limit on Mon and Tues.
Just use your best judgement when you sit at that table.


I believe that some players will do this with time-of-day as well (more likely to play a little bit higher in the evenings....or play lower than they normally do in the mornings).


Currently I'm mostly a 5/10 player with occasional weekend sessions at 10/20 when I find a table/fish I like AND I'm feeling confident enough and strong enough (re: not terribly tired or anything) to take on the higher game.

As I continue to gradually move up I will simply become a guy who mostly plays 10/20 who occasionally drops back to 5/10.
