I would have led the turn. Too many scary cards can come.

I would pot the river.

i like your play so far and i think you should check and raise the river...
hopefully... he bets a dime, you raise to 2800, he calls w/ straight/trips, we take his money, fly to vegas and get wasted... if he pushes, disconnect! (fold )

Let's replay this hand.

Lead the flop you get called.
Turn is a brick.

I don't like leading the flop because we don't really find out where we are in this hand if villain plays passively.

What's the line for the turn?

k, sorry...
AZK is bluffing on the flop... whatever other guy calls with, he wins.

He had a habit of taking the pot away on the turn, so I thought I'd check/call. I feel like a cr let's him off way too easy if he is just doing this with air, which he had somewhat of a tendency to do when we were playing hu. If I lead, and he called what would your default river play be?

[/ QUOTE ]

if what you're saying is true, why would you do anything other than check the river?.....if I had led the turn, I'd lead the river - but if air is a big part of his range, no point in betting.....if he has an ace he's not likely checking the river anyway after you checked twice and he's pissed off at you.....the only UNLESS here is, if you think he's the type to try a big bluff-raise, I might consider a weak lead on the river.....
