It's pretty bad when your making millions and try to nickle and dime people to death. If this crap conitues less people will play poker.

F them and the horse they rode in on!

Any chance this is just a software glitch?

Has anybody written to AP on this?

I just witnessed a No Flop But a drop a minute ago at the 75/150 table. Everyone folded till the button raised and the SB and BB folded, rake of $2.

I'm certain it's a glitch of some sort. A company with a reputation for helping their players out like absolute doesn't just decide to inrease the rake 6x overnight for no good reason.

I don't think Absolute is doing as good as you think. A lot of their money goes to bonuses and affiliates. As well as overhead

No bug about it. It's only happening on the 75/150 table.

Just saw this thread so I went to look - the poker room manager just came in and said they're fixing it and it only effects the 75/150 tables. He offered everyone effected a spot in a freeroll.

The poker room manger spoke in the chat saying there is an error and the people at the table will get a freeroll plus some money added to compensate for there screw up. I guess a software "upgrade" is coming soon.

Absolute Poker is now raking out of pots that simply get folded around. Is this the industry norm? I can't recall ever seeing this before.

In addition, though the max rake does not seem to have gone up, they are maxing in smaller pots (less than 1 BB, so almost EVERY pot is maxxed).

The upshot of this is that short games, and especially heads up, have now become prohibitively expensive. This new change smacks of sheer, unaldulterated greed.

The only bright side is that bonus whores may clear bonuses faster (but lose more to the rake in the process).

i am noticing that the bonus account isnt reflecting the amount of hands that i am playing.
