He wants to play .05/.1 games, which Party doesn't offer. UB doesn't either; I think they go from .01/.02 straight to .25/.5.

[/ QUOTE ]

UB offers .01/.02 NL, .05/.10 NL, .25/.50 NL and up.

i've seen in a 0.25/0.50 LIMIT GAME folded to the BB 7-handed....try and see THAT on Party

Is the tight play a bad thing? I mean I would rather be playing against that then a bunch of maniac players just looking to catch a card on the river, or am I not thinking correctly here?

Well think of it this way, the way you make money at poker is by exploiting your opponents mistakes. If your opponents are playing tightly they will be involved in fewer hands and therefore will be making fewer mistakes. Not that a tight game can't be profitable it can be , just less so than a looser game. IMO the single most important money making tool in NL is controlling the odds your opponents are getting on their draws, against loose players who don't care what odds they are being offered you can see the money making potential is endless. A tight player on the other hand will not chase given bad odds and you will only win whats already in the pot. Of course alot depends on your playing style too, if your a more aggressive pot stealing kind of player than a tight game might be more to your liking. JMO
