Re: Turn decision...
After you hit your Jack and are squeezing those extra bets out of the Button, you'll be losing.

What hands does a 'solid' Button have here? [/ QUOTE ] I dont know who this is directed to but my thinking was, he raised to protect his hand. He could have 99,TT,(22). More likely top pair with ATs-JTs. Maybe T9s for the 2 pair. I would probably play this way with QJd (that may be wrong). SO I think assuming he flopped a set is weak tight. |
Re: Turn decision...
Closing action getting 10:1 to hit a straight is a call. If I hit anything on the river, I am still checking though. However folding this is awfully weak tight.
UTG being loose and fishy he could have two overcards or a PP looking to spike, I dont think he is the threat in this hand. Button appears to have a ten (ATs KTs JTs would be hands he could CC PF with on the button) there is a lesser chance he has 99 since I feel he'd be popping the turn with that hand. Him betting the turn after 2 calls on the flop with QJ doesnt really make sense, but the turn was a brick so I could be a possibility. |
