You probably gave the most satisfying answer. Yes, and expert hand reader is going to clean my clock in this situation. He'll read the KK, QQ and just manipulate the EFF out of me, making me put in a few more chips, then slamming the door and forcing me to fold.

I did stipulate that the raiser was Tight aggressive in name only. Meaning he knows to play tight aggressive, and thats probably about it.

I strongly disagree with raising on any street here. we're either far far ahead or far far behind, and our opponent seems to be willing to play a small pot. better yet, he's going to bet his theoretically lesser hand on every street for us, give us good odds to look him up and not make us make any tough decisions about how much to bet.

if we can put opponent on a 2 outer and he thinks he's got the best hand, why would we want to convince him otherwise?

against most players I think the rarely correct calldown is the best line here. what's interesting to me is how much harder it is to play against someone who just bets the pot all the time. if your opponent just bet the pot, you would have to fold.

as played, your opponent will most times have a vulnerable hand and occasionally have a monster. better players will make close to the maximum when they have him beat, and lose the minimum to a monster. his underbetting strategy is really terrible.

I dont see any reason to raise on the flop here, there are no possible draws and you are against a player who will continue to bet small with a hand that you beat, and raise large when your behind giving you an easy fold on the turn or river. The situation would be different against a tricky player.
