All of these recommendations are perfect. The Theory of Poker, Small Stakes Hold Em, and Hold Em for Advanced Players, when read in succession will VASTLY improve your limit hold em game. I'll just tell you what book NOT to get. The first book I ever got a few years back was Ken Warren Teaches Texas Holdem. I did not consult 2+2 back then (I didn't even know what it was!). I just wanted to learn and went to the store. I picked up the biggest book that looked like it might be good. While it did teach me the basics, and the statistical analysis was nice, the book was awful. I noticed this after I started reading the 2+2 books. Well Ken Warren Teaches Texas Hold Em is gathering dust on my bookshelf right now. If he can write a book, I sure as hell can too.
