Re: Do u win moore with AKs than AKo?

[ QUOTE ] They are basically the same hand. You aren't getting paid off with your flush because you need Qxs to call your pre-flop bet and hit the flush. How often is that going to happen? [/ QUOTE ] But people love to call PF raises with suited connectors, suited 1-gappers and many love any 2 suited. At the nl25-50, a flush is a flush to them. [/ QUOTE ] True, but do you stack people often enough with flush over flushes to warrant calling turn bets with implied odds? I really have no idea. I think Axs works a lot better because many villains will play Kxs and pay you off. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think the major strength of AKs comes from actually hitting flushes (although it helps). I think it picks up a lot of strength because having TPTK with a flush or back-door flush possiblity puts you in situations where you can play your hand more aggresively to pick up pots, but not lose as much value when you are called. |

Flush draws and runner runner flush draws bail me out all the time... there is no way that AKo=AKs. [/ QUOTE ] No way 24-1 against bails you out all the time. Period. |
