until 7 months ago, my grandparents didn't have a dvd player.

They have no computers in their house.

They're also 85 years old though, and could give a flying [censored] about email or any of the stuff you and I take for granted.

Mine are around that age and have 2 computers, broadband, several tvs and a dvd player. Their kids pretty much force it on them.
