suggestions?
I've had only good experiences with Dell. I've had a Toshiba, Compaq, and an HP laptop, and Dell (with a good coupon) has been a better value and better computer (fewer problems).
So what brands do you suggest? I checked out Alienware, but they don't have a laptop with 1920x1200 resolution. |

I have their one year in home warranty, and they had somebody to my house w/in 36 hours (I called on the weekend). The computer I got has been awesome (I use it for work and poker..with 4 tables, PT, and Poker Ace running). Somebody above basically mentioned all the specs I have with mine. craig |
In Case You Missed It - Openoffice
Good, another Openoffice fan!
Really folks, if you want to get away from Microsoft Office give Openoffice a try. While you are at it give the Mozilla firefox browser and thunderbird email application a try. Way more secure than MS products, they work great and best of all FREE!!! |
